We travel back in time to the Stone Age… We will live together with indigenous communities that immerge us with their ancient and traditional mille-nary culture. To get used to the topical surroundings, we begin our trip in Panama City, navigating through the Panama Canal and visit its locks. Now we are ready to drive until the un-crossable Darien, where the Pan-American Highway is interrupted. Furthermore, we take a canoe and a 4X4 vehicle to reach the genuine Emberá Wounaan community. We immerse ourselves into their culture and adopt their traditions. We discover the Darién National Park and hope to see a jaguar or the Harpy Eagle, considered the Panama national bird. Next, we leave behind the green jungle to encounter the turquoise blue waters of the San Blas archipelago and its hundreds of islands where the Guna Yala indigenous tribe live. White sand beaches filled with coconuts on the crystal water shore lines. We get the chance to live and immerse ourselves with the Gunas and get to visit their main community. We drive towards the Mamoni Valley Natural Reserve placed in the mountain range in between the Caribbean and the Pacific coasts. We will be accompanied by experts to better understand the isthmus and its biodiversity. Finally, we go back to Panama City and enjoy its colonial, multicultural and modern flavour lifestyle.
